Local bus:

All three sites are well served by London's bus routes. For more information see Transport for London.

Train:

The main campus located between three stations, St John's Rail, Lewisham and Brockley. All these stations are connected to London's extensive underground and overground network. See Transport for London for local train services. For national rail service to London see National Rail.

Heathrow and Gatwick Airports are both major international airports and are well-connected to central London. London City Airport serves the UK, Europe and the USA is the closest to the college.

Town attractions/ ambience

London is one of the world's major capital cities with all the culture, excitement, vibrancy and facilities that this brings. Lewisham, whilst centrally located, has its own South London identity. Good transport links mean it's minutes from the greenery of Greenwich and only a short journey from the undulating hills of Kent.

Nightlife

From small pubs to giant clubs, London has it all, and the O2 Arena isn't too far from all three sites and attracts the biggest stars in the world.

Education facilities

Skill Builder Workshops allow students to build on relevant skills outside their direct area of study and the Literacy Point is especially useful considering the high proportion of students for whom English is a second or third language. A training restaurant and beauty salon also allow the student body to enjoy the fruits of their fellow students' labour.

Student union

The Lewisham College student magazine relaunched in 2010 and informs students of college news, events and support available.

Sporting facilities

The fitness centre is available to students during evenings and weekends and students can arrange to have a personal trainer.
