Town attractions/ ambience

Lincoln is a city sprinkled with cultural delights. The historic Castle Square and the third largest cathedral in Britain help to transport visitors back to the medieval times. A stroll down the ancient cobbled streets will always turn up colourful boutique shops and quirky independent stores..

The high street lies at the foot of the olde-world style landscape and offers a range of amenities, including a typical selection of high street shops, cafes and juice bars.

Nightlife

There are plenty of modern bars in the city of Lincoln and nightlife improves year on year. The constant stream of new students and visitors mean that venues such as the Engine Shed are rarely empty. Students in the know recommend The Cloud Bar, The Glasshouse and Revolution as places worthy of night-time visits.
